Italian Citizenship
Assistance

About

Italy has generous citizenship laws towards people of Italian descent. The country in fact aims to maintain ties with the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of its immigrants by allowing Italian citizenship to be passed on from parent to child without limit to number of generations. Because of this, it is fairly easy to qualify and apply for Italian dual citizenship with the proper information and assistance.

Since Zeolla Solutions first began offering Italian Citizenship Assistance, we have helped many clients around the world to obtain their dual citizenship.

Our goal is to help you realise your dream of becoming an Italian citizen, allowing you to live in Italy and work anywhere in the European Union (EU) taking advantage of all the associated benefits.

  • Travel:

One of the most significant benefits of Italian dual citizenship is the ability to travel, work and live in ANY of the 28 EU countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and the United Kingdom*).

  • Studying and Employment:

Another advantage of having an Italian Citizenship is the ability to study and work legally across the whole European Union. This comes without the need of going through long and expensive visa applications or requests for special permissions. EU citizens often receive priority over those seeking employment from outside of the EU for professional opportunities and also some educational positions.

  • Purchasing Property:

Apart from tax discounts, purchasing property as a citizen of Italy (in Italy) is easier in terms of requirements and transactions cost-effectiveness.  Non-citizens may face extra difficulties with longer processes and extra documentation.

  • Hereditary:

Having an Italian citizenship also brings many benefits to your children. Any minor children that you may have at the time of your recognition as an Italian citizen will also automatically be recognised as Italian citizens.

  • Healthcare:

Affordable quality healthcare is one of the most significant Italian citizenship benefits that will be available to you. As a dual citizen in Italy, you can apply for your Tessera Sanitaria to receive Italian healthcare. Italy’s healthcare system is one of the best and most affordable in the world.

  • Emotional:

There is likewise an emotional benefit for many such as the ability to reside indefinitely in Italy and/or the EU with the freedom to come and go as pleased. Italy is a beautiful country full of rich history and vibrant cultures that have survived the test of time and that are still alive and thriving today as a unified nation.

When you become an Italian citizen, you close the circle and restore your ties to your heritage & ancestors. You can experience the great things they had – relish in their history and see for your own eyes what life may have been like for them. Your own children’s origins will be available for them to experience.

  • Working Holiday Visa in Australia (3 years):

One related advantage of obtaining an Italian Dual Citizenship is that it allows you to apply for a Working Holiday Visa in Australia, a temporary visa ideally suited for young people who want to travel and work in Australia for up to 3 years.

If you are aged between 18 and 31 and hold a passport from one of the eligible countries (i.e.: Italy) you are entitled to apply for an Australian Working Holiday visa.

  • The cost of Italian Citizenship process and the Work Holiday Visa fees are lower compared to 3 to 5 years of investment in a study visa course in Australia.

  • From 1 July 2019, Work Holiday Visa holders who carry out 6 months of specified work in regional areas while on their second Working Holiday (subclass 417) visa or Work and Holiday (subclass 462) visa may be eligible to apply for a third visa

If you have any question regarding applying for Italian Dual Citizenship based on:

  • ITALIAN CITIZENSHIP BY DESCENT ('JURE SANGUINIS')

If you have a male or female ancestor who was born in Italy you may qualify for Italian citizenship by descent.

  • ITALIAN CITIZENSHIP BY MARRIAGE OR CIVIL UNION ('JURE MATRIMONII')

Foreign spouses of Italian citizens are entitled to Italian citizenship after 3 years from the marriage or civil union, if residing abroad, or 2 years if residing in Italy.

  • CITIZENSHIP THROUGH A FEMALE ANCESTOR

Under the Italian Law Italian-born women, and women of Italian descent, could only transmit Italian citizenship to their children born after 1948. Recently a trial case challenged this law as discriminatory and those applicants who have a case falling in the this category can now attain Italian citizenship by starting a lawsuit before the Italian Courts
