National Innovation
Visa Report
A structured evidence report for an applicant who has to show they are among the best in their field, and that Australia benefits from having them here.
An evidence problem, not a form problem
The National Innovation Visa is for people with a record of exceptional achievement in a target sector who will bring a benefit to Australia. The threshold is high and the assessment is comparative - the question is not whether the applicant is accomplished but whether they are among the best, judged against others in the same field.
Applications fail because the material is present but unargued. A CV lists awards; it does not explain what the award is, how selective it is, or where it sits internationally. A publication list is not the same as an h-index in context. The report does the work of turning a pile of evidence into a case.
What the report covers
The nominator - their standing in the field and why their nomination carries weight
The applicant’s field of expertise and where their work sits within it
Awards and prizes, with the selectivity and standing of each explained
Qualifications, research designations and academic appointments
Grants, patents and technological innovation
Publications, citation record and keynote invitations
Ventures, leadership roles and commercial outcomes
Recognition in arts, sport or culture where that is the field
Income evidence against the Fair Work high income threshold
Industry board and advisory appointments, and media coverage
The benefit to Australia - specific, evidenced, and tied to what the applicant will do here
Age-specific material where the applicant is under 18 or over 55
The nominator
A nomination from someone with a national reputation in the applicant’s own area of expertise is a requirement, not a formality, and a weak nominator undermines an otherwise strong case. The form asks for their details and their standing, and the report establishes both.
Pricing

Common questions
What sectors qualify?
The program targets critical fields - technology, science and research, engineering and advanced manufacturing, health and biotechnology, agriculture and environment, arts and culture, sport, and entrepreneurship. Choose on the form.
Does the applicant need an Australian job offer?
Not necessarily, but employment or an offer at or above the Fair Work high income threshold is strong evidence and the form asks about it.
What if they are over 55?
The program allows for it where there is exceptional benefit to Australia. The form has a dedicated section for that material.
How much evidence is enough?
More than you think. Send everything on the form - we would rather discard material than discover it is missing.
How long does it take?
We give you a delivery date with the quote, within one business day of the form arriving.
